Instructor Trainings
"The best teaching I've ever seen."
—Trainee Helenita Jacobs
Northwest Director, Total Immersion
Miracle Swimming, the 21st century method of swim instruction, is a new, more powerful paradigm than the original 20th century teaching method, formulated in 1912. ![]()
Throw away your manual for teaching afraid adults and children. The information required to be virtually 100% successful teaching them is found in the Conquer Fear Instructor Training. There are now 34 people who know it, worldwide.
If you're serious about ending drowning in your community, there's only one place to turn.
The Conquer Fear Instructor Training™ is material every swim instructor in the world should know. Students can't learn what to do with their arms and legs if they're afraid they might not live. Our 4000 students and 33 trained instructors worldwide ask, "Why isn't this the way all swimming is taught?" Unlike any other training, we'll teach you how to TEACH comfort and control. We've broken down overcoming fear into the smallest of steps. Invest in our new technology (tested and proven for 27 years) and see a 100% return on your investment within 4-5 months. Your swim students may only need to know how to swim once: and that will be the time their lives depend on what they learned from you in Miracle Swimming.
No one quits Miracle Swimming lessons.
What's Different?
"My two little 4-year olds that I have been using the "method" on are both putting their faces in the water and floating on their backs!! The serious one has yet to smile, but the other one was laughing up a storm today! Way too awesome...
Thanks, Melon!!
—Judy Lemke, AquaMania Swim School
"You'll never teach the same way again once you've taken this training."
— 100% of our Instructor Graduates
Educational, enlightening, fulfilling. I would love to do something similar anytime possible! It allows you a different outlook on how people feel, learn, prosper, and grow naturally."
—Malari McMurtery, Bubbles to Butterfly Swim School
As a swimming instructor, you learned to teach swimming mechanics. We'll teach you how to teach comfort and control.
No one can perform mechanics in deep water and be reliable for their safety in a lake or deep pool or during a storm unless they're in control in water. But adults who can't swim—46% of the American adult public—are not in control in water and cannot learn to swim the way you were taught to teach it. That's why they're not free or safe in deep water today. Steps were skipped. It shows: seventy percent of American drownings are by adults. Together, we can end unspeakable loss, sorrow, the emergency room visits, 911 calls, insurance claims and mostly, the heartbreak and loss of life. It's unnecessary. But it will continue as long as 20th century swimming instruction is used to teach beginner adults. Beginners are those who aren't free in deep water:
they don't know how the water works yet. They don't know how to be in control.
Did ANYONE who was afraid in water learn to overcome their fear and swim with the 20th century method? Yes. The onesies and twosies learned well from a few instructors who knew more than the average bear. But the American system, started in 1912 which became the Red Cross program and then the Y's, is an "operating system" that only works for half the population. It was great back then as the only system we had. It works great today for half the students. But today we know more. It does not work for most adults, nor for afraid teenagers and children who slip through the cracks of traditional lessons. Safety requires a foolproof method that serves everyone.
Bring these safety essentials to Swimming in your community:
- A series of steps of learning to swim that never fails*
- Increased participation in all swimming sports
- New possibilities for water safety
- The steps of healing, as opposed to managing fear
- A new paradigm of learning applicable to any learning
- Empowerment of swim instructors to succeed with all students
- Keeping pools open by increasing the number of people interested in swimming
*and speeds up learning for all students
Could those be helpful to you?
"Just like MasterCard...priceless. I've always felt badly that my adult students just weren't getting it. Now I know, I was just not teaching it."
—Swim school owner, Mary Anne Bein of New Jersey, after our online training
"It is completely the opposite of what traditional training represents. If I had only read about this system and not witnessed it several times over, I would be skeptical as to its success. I have always been pushed, and have been taught to do the same thing in order to produce results. No amount of "pushing" can produce the results that your system does in any of the swimmers I have seen through this program." —Ian Thorburn, Dallas, TX, Trainee
