You'll learn to be in control in the ocean, in control of your equipment, and comfortable diving, slowly and at your own pace. In a class regularly given in 4 days, MSI will guide you through the steps in 7 days, with 4 days afterward for a diving vacation in Key Largo to anchor your learning.

It's beneficial to dive right after you're certified (it makes all the difference): we hope all students register also for the March 22-26 dive vacation! (It starts 3/21 if we've finished the course by then). It also gives you more diving for the same air fare.
The point of Miracle Swimming Institute's existence is to teach you how to be safe: how to prevent panic, be in control in the ocean and to dive with calm. This is something no other school we know in the world teaches. When you apply our teaching, diving is enjoyable and as safe as safe can get. Open up a new world and a new world of vacation possibilities.
Schedule of Dive Course
Each day, we meet for up to an hour in the morning to discuss what's on your mind regarding the activities planned for that day. Then we go to the course (beginning March 16). You should be thoroughly familiar with both book and dvd before you go to Key Largo. Do the Knowledge Reviews ahead of time. Then we'll to the pool for confined water skills for a few days. Then we begin the ocean part of the course. When we finish the ocean portion, we'll take a day off. Finally, we'll have the last 4-5 days for a diving vacation.
March 14, Saturday: fly to to Miami, transport with Melon to Key Largo
March 15- 19: Dry-land and pool sesssions (we play this by ear)
March 20, 21: boat checkout dives

SCUBA Diving Vacation
Key Largo, Florida Dive Vacation
For certified divers:
5-day dive vacation including at least one night dive: March 20-26, 2009. Arrive March 20, depart March 26. $1790 plus air fare. $1690 if you register by January 5, 2009. Registration deadline January 15.
Includes 5 days of 2-tank dives, one day with a night dive as well, lodging shared with one trip-mate, dive gear (bring your own wetsuit, mask, fins, snorkel), shared rental car. Additional night dives extra. Single supplement $515. Or, stay in dorm (bunk beds, sharing the room with 2-4 MSI divers; kitchen, large common area too) for $35/night! If you stay in the dorm rather than the hotel, total price is $310 less for shared room.
