I agree that if I do not complete the online training on time (3 days before the hands-on training begins), I will be ineligible for my chosen hands-on training. Description   Training Schedule, approximate: Day 1: Dinner, complements of Miracle Swimming/21st Century Swimming Lessons, Inc. Day 2: Beginning class starts: 9-noon and 3:30-6:30. IT hours are those, plus 1:30-3. Day 3: Session #3 of Beginning class 9-noon. IT 12:30-4:30 Day 4: Sessions #4 and 5 of Beginning class 9-noon and 3:30-6:30. IT 1:30-3 Day 5: Session #6 and 7 of Beginning class 9-noon and 3:30-6:30. IT 1:30-3 Day 6: Session #8 of Beginning class 9-noon. IT: 1:30-5:30 Day 7: IT 9:30-4 p.m. Begin with the online training which takes 4-5 weeks. Then attend the instructor training (6-days, 6-nights) and the full adult Miracle Swimming Beginning class to prepare you to be 100% successful with afraid swim students. The 6 days include eight 3-hour class sessions with students, plus ~20 hours of instructor classroom time. Prerequisites: read Conquer Your Fear of Water and see the video, The Miracle Swimmer before the hands-on training. These come with the keys to the training, and are paid for by your training fee. You must have an established teaching venue and current schedule of classes to take the training. If taking the full training (11 days), you will have 2 days off between the Miracle Swimming Beginning and Next Step classes. The schedule of the second week will be similar for the Next Step class. Your training will consist of being a spotter in the Next Step class plus approximately one hour between morning and afternoon classes for debriefing and review. Your training ends after the last session of the Next Step class and a wrap-up conversation with your trainer and fellow trainees to launch you. Recommendation: if you have a staff, we suggest you'll want at least one of them to do the training with you. Otherwise you're the only person at your school who knows the material and this can be daunting. Submit your Application form. Superb: Enjoyable and Informative January 19, 2012 Reviewer: Christopher Canaday from Columbus, OH United States   My Miracle Swimming instructor training adventure was one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling experiences of my life. Not only did it impart invaluable skills, it also gave me the chance to see, first hand, how learning to swim can change people's lives.
