Learn Freestyle and Flip turns in 7 days. Drills starting at Square One (after you're completely comfortable in water, shallow and deep) will build a freestyle that's simple and easy. If you don't get all the way there, you'll have the steps: the full stroke is attainable in a few hours of practice at home after class.

Freestyle Refresher May 4 and 5 for Freestyle grads who wish to make corrections, practice with feedback, and get tips for 3 sessions: $365.

Come with fins. We recommend TYR Split Fins or Aquasphere Fitness Fins. Purchase them in time to try them on in the pool first and return them for another pair if they don't fit properly. At the pool, do a some flutter kick if you know what it is (the kick that goes with freestyle). See if the fins stay on. See if they rub anywhere. You don't want to develop any hot spots. You may need to wear socks, moleskin, or bandaids if there any rubbing spots. They should be comfortable and a non-issue.

You are eligible for this class once you're willing to try somersaults and handstands, bump into other people, and play in water. You must be completely comfortable!

You may wish to have a neoprene vest since this pool is 85 degrees. We'll send information upon registration.

Day 3 9-noon and 3-6 p.m.
Day 4 9-noon plus optional afternoon sailing on Sarasota Bay ($65)
Day 5 9-noon
Day 6 9-noon and 3-6 p.m. (Refresher class, too)
Day 7 9-noon or 8-11 (more likely) (Refresher class, too)
