A guide for your friends and family to read so they'll understand how best to support you after class.
Have you ever wished your spouse and friends knew how to be with you in regard to your swimming? Knew what questions to ask, how to be supportive and say the right things? Knew what things NOT to say and what's not relevant to your situation? How to be with you in the pool?
This guide is about how to be supportive on land: what messages are helpful and why, and how to have reasonable expectations. It also contains photos of how to be helpful in the pool.
It includes a brief explanation of what was covered in class (no matter what you mastered), the 5 Circles, and do's and don'ts.
It does the work for you. When your buddy reads it, you'll be relieved. Then, all you have to do is refer back to it.
7 pages of information they don't know, including:
# The Definition of Swimming (being in control in the deep, not stroking)
# What Is Control? (what it means to be in your body)
# Freestyle Is Swimming But Swimming Is Not Freestyle
# How To Be Supportive
