August 25, 2010, the balance will be charged to your credit card. As of August 25, 2010, the course fee is nonrefundable, but hotel is refundable. Purchase trip insurance within two weeks of registering to cover surprise cancellations. We've had good experience with Access America, 1-800-284-8300. Arrange your own air fare to Sarasota or Tampa. If you wish to depart from Miami at the end of the dive vacation, we'll arrange for you to get there. $200, nonrefundable, will be charged to your credit card at Checkout, though it will say the full amount will be charged. This deposit pays for your E-Learning Pass for the PADI Dive Course which you'll be able to begin right away.
Course fee includes: dive course, shared
hotel room with one classmate for 7 nights, and dive equipment except for mask, fins, snorkel which you should purchase. PMS membership for 2010 is $45 and extra (for non-current members). Single supplement $615 (for spouse or friend accompanying you, or for a single). The friend would also pay a guest fee of $150 to share transportation to the airport, group activities, to class locations, etc.
After you register, a list of items to take to the class will be sent along with information about purchasing snorkeling gear (mask, fins, snorkel).
Minimum class size: 4 by June 1, 2010.
Stay for the dive vacation in Key Largo after you're certified. This is the best way to get dive experience while the information and skills are fresh, and to take your diving above student level. It makes a big difference in building your confidence to dive again after this trip.
